CONCLUSION

In conclusion what our observations have shown is that  most ants that we’ve caught and observed have been the red imported ant and the least amount of ants that we’ve documented have been the winnow ant. From what we’ve seen most of our data is in risk of being taken by squirrels or chipmunks because of the presence of our bait and that our bait is in open test tubes and can be picked up and taken away. Citizen scientist can further our research by going out and setting their own traps in or around the area they live and document it on a form for data collection. Some things that could be changed in our overall project is the way that we set out our traps since we've come to realize that one one of the main dilemmas was the intervention of small mammal creatures, we’ve also come to the conclusion that this project in general was successful in looking for ant diversity.
